The “Patricia Cummings Pierce Excellence in Teaching Award,” sponsored by TSEF, is presented annually to a distinguished educator from the five-town area who advocates for students, has a willingness to support colleagues and expands professional horizons.  The Pat Pierce Award recognizes the exceptional characteristics of Pat's life - her deep commitment to children and her profession, as well as her great enthusiasm for learning and life.
